Paula’s work focuses on the alignment of mind and body--understanding that we move not only from our muscles and joints, but also from the support of our inner body. While movement or asana can start from the inner or outer body, movement initiated from the inner body increases awareness and vitality.

Paula's teaching and insights are a fusion of anatomical and kinesiology studies with master teachers including Bonnie Bainbridge Cohen, Leslie Kaminoff and Richard Freeman. The classes Paula teaches are great for beginners as well as seasoned students looking to practice in a way that promotes health and connection, and not merely physical exercise.

Paula has taught internationally for over twenty years, and has been named one of Well + Good's Top 5 Meditation Teachers .

During your session you’ll learn to calm the mind, quiet the senses, and increase concentration. Exercises will include instruction in meditation, calming pranayama (breathing exercises), and concentration training. No experience necessary, and students of all spiritual backgrounds are welcome.


Sessions are grounded in the principles of Yogic philosophy, utilized as a lens through which to understand each individual’s unique qualities. Using the basic yogic principles of love and compassion, we will determine an appropriate path for the growth of the couple or the individual. Together we will foster a deepened sense of self-awareness and acceptance.

Each session begins with an open dialogue that helps to determine the wants, needs, and obstacles. We will work towards pinpointing the most relevant life issues and addressing them on a physical, energetic, emotional and spiritual level. Techniques that may be used during the session include: trance, movement, breathing techniques and meditation.


Vortex Healing is an ancient and multifaceted energetic healing art that facilitates release of emotional and mental blockages, stemming from the deepest levels of ancestral, genetic and karmic imprinting. It channels Divine frequencies and light to clear and heal the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual bodies, as well as the main chakras and other energy centers. In doing so, we rejuvenate the flow of life force energy to the spine, kundalini and meridians.

Working with this ancient healing art is a personal journey into the heart. It will allow you to regain your natural spiritual balance and a keen awareness of your true Self, your environment, your relationships and more. The session will be private and in alignment with your own individual development.


This practice focuses on reaching a generative state, which is a high level of mind/body relaxation, concentration, and fluid flexibility. The generative state allows for a creative response to whatever challenges exist and a deep connection to positive resources beyond a personal ego state. Once trance is achieved, you will focus on maintaining this state throughout the session, so that new and meaningful change can occur.

Generative Trance allows transformation to occur at the deepest level of identity, where core beliefs and visions exist. Mind/body approaches are used to help transform the way you think, feel, respond, and create in every aspect of your life.
